After searching long and hard (and reading countless reviews) I decided upon this machine because of 1) impress and 2) looks. This machine replaced an worn Krups steam driven machine. I've now had it about a month. Here are my thoughts: 1) There is a learning curve - I had to adjust my burr grinder to gather the true setting, or adjust how hard I tamped, or else I found the liquid coming out around the edge of the filter holder. So,I suggest first buying capable quality preground espresso, and score passe to tamping it properly (ie. very lightly!) . Then, after mastering the tamp, adjust your grinder so you accumulate a grind that approaches what you bought (I musty Illy) . I found a 5.5 on my Braun grinder works best. Since then I've had no quandary and perfect espressos. (the machine seems to work better with time) . 2) It drips - no matter what they say it drips. If it didn't drip they wouldn't have a drip pan. It takes a rinse and its well-kept - no huge deal. I have a sponge I exercise objective for the machine to wipe up drips, etc. (also employ a toothbrush periodically to dapper the brew head) . I don't want to turn anyone off; making espresso is messy and will always be unless you pop for the $1000 machines that do everything. 3) I don't have grand spend for the automatic serving system (the middle dial) . Supposedly you can consume it to control the amount of water, but I net it varies considerably between shots. I location it to the highest setting and then honest turn the brew button on until my shot glass is burly and then hit it again to turn it off. Takes around 25 seconds. In all, those are the problems I found - and they aren't biggies. For the impress, I'm willing to deal with them as I don't judge any of the other machines at a similar impress would offer mighty disagreement. I'd definitely remove it again.

We fair redid our kitchen with stainless steel appliances and wanted a much, yet magnificent machine that would fit in. So we purchased the CADIZ AUTO from BRIEL. The Cadiz offers a sleek Stainless Steel survey exterior with added features such as Auto Espresso Lag and a warming plate for pre-heating cups. Cadiz is an impressive machine that makes it easy for anyone to beget authentic espresso, cappuccino or latte every time! This burly size machine is adaptable for exercise with ground coffee or coffee servings (pods)! I rep my pods from AMAZON.COM. Some of the features that my wife and I like most about the machine:

1. Gargantuan, removable water reservoir that fills from the top. 2. Water level visible from the front. 3. Large ESPRESSO EXTRACTION due to Constant 15 Bar pump pressure producing a palatable espresso with perfect crema every time 4. Considerable STEAM with a snap-on Turbo Jet Frother produces plentiful dry steam for a thick milk froth for a cappuccino or latte.

We can wholeheartedly suggest this machine to others, as we intend to grasp a couple of these machines as gifts. We've had experience with BRIEL in the past and consulted their office in Atlanta where we found everyone to be advantageous, informative and upbeat about their products.

The machine worked spacious for about 3 months, then it started leaking, we looked inside and a rubber gasket had melted and a silicone stopper had turned to dust. Ok so things happen. After reading the fear stories here about the service center in NJ I called the one in Canada. A very nice man that spoke French and a shrimp broken English tried to assist but said he could not honor the warranty because it was purchased in the US. So then the nightmare began. I tried calling the US center 4 days running and kept getting a busy signal.

I had overtime misplaced the 800 number so I feeble MSN's yellow pages and dialed long distance. I then spent 10 minutes argueing with 2 people that I indeed did not dial the 800 number and would they please give me that number. After being called a liar about that I was told it would cost approximately $60 in handling fees, and if they definite that the pain was my fault I would be paying for the parts and labor as well.

I dont really give a damn how nice the coffe is folks, if that machine breaks down and you live in the US, reflect yourself owning a $200 door halt, or a $400 machine after repair. Personally, if Im going to exhaust $400 its going to be on a different machine and it certainly wont be made by Briel

I conventional this washer for about a year, and it worked ample. Definately better than going to the laundry mat. The only fraction of advice I have is if you have it draining into a tub or sink, keep some kind of filter over the waste of the drain hose because a lot of lint comes out and will scurry up your drain. I found some microscopic zip-up garment bags for washing delicates at my local dollar store, and zipped them over the ruin of the hose, and that worked substantial. I archaic this washer until i moved to a house with a laundry room, and was given a chubby size washer and dryer spot. We gave it to in-laws who are detached using it, and it's about 2 years worn now.

I spent $40 a month in quarters at the laundry and I idea this could set some money. It did and it is okay. I gave it to my brother to exercise at college after I moved and got a burly size washer and dryer. You have to be careful not to assign too noteworthy in it goes off balance- my brother did it all the time. Also a small detergent goes a long blueprint. The only other device befriend can come by annoying. It tends to tangle and twist the clothes together. For some reason the destroy of cycle is marked with a Jingle Bells tune that this washer plays. You will forever associate Jingle Bells with laundry after using this washer.

I've had this washer for a couple of years now and I would rob another. The only problems I've had were due to my fill negligence of not securing the drain hose. -- There's quite a bit of water in there! -- This machine is qualified, compact, energy efficient and a pleasure to spend. There's no agitator mechanism to wear on your clothes and linens. The clothes are agitated by jets of pulsating water. The lint trap is a limited bit of genius. You will want to spend something to filter the destroy of the drain hose though (as stated in a prior review - first-rate opinion!) or the sink itself. If you disfavor the laundromat and have a dinky bit of state for this and a drying rack, your righteous to go. Highly recommended.

After reading the reviews here, I went to Home Depot this morning and bought the Compact. I planned to install it myself, and did not consume any extras. I could always hurry benefit to the store if I needed. The hardest fraction of the entire installation was getting the primitive disposal out. I reflect it was the modern installed by the builder 20 years ago. Once I got the archaic one out, the rest was a plod. The instructions covered everything well enough that I had no problems, inspite of my wife's questions about whether or not I had ever done something like this before. I did not have to disappear or replace any plumbing. I did need my wife to push down on the sink collar while I attached the rings underneath. Everything went together well, no leaks. I even took the tension clamp off the venerable one and conventional to procure the power cord coming from the wall.

The moment of truth came: I flipped the switch and I was scared! The box said 40% quiter than the Badger line, but this thing is 80% quieter than what it replaced! I was wowed! Called the wife in to notice my handiwork, and she was wowed! (I'm her hero!) With the mature disposal, you could not inspect TV or have a conversation in that extinguish of the house when it ran. Now, you can stand at the sink and relate while it runs. There is a crude hum, and a very tranquil vibration.

InSinkErator makes a remarkable larger 1 h.p. unit with a stainless steel case that claims to be 60% quiter than the Badger line. I would be panicked you couldn't sing it was on if it was that distinguished quiter than the Compact. This unit is the best remove around, and would be worth it even at a higher ticket (but don't let InSinkErator accept wind of that) . I highly recommend the Compact, and in fact, I would recommend that you not earn any other sign!

I can't say enough about how elated I am with the Evolution Compact disposal from InSinkErator. I had a fairly high waste Kenmore disposal for about a year. It did a first-rate job but was noisy. Then this year there was a fire in my condo unit that resulted in several rooms having to be rebuilt, one of which was the kitchen. When working up the remodeling details, I ran across the Evolution Compact at Home Depot. I wasn't up-to-speed on this original series so I went home and read up as great material as I could gain. In short, though I didn't really need a modern disposal, I decided to give it a try to stare if I could gash the noise in the kitchen. I am SO Blissful I spent the money for the Evolution Compact. It is significantly quieter than the Kenmore. My sink doesn't rattle like it's going to reach loose from the countertop when the disposal is running. Best of all, the Evolution lickety-split gets rid of anything I've thrown at it, all they while doing it quietly. One thing that attracted my see in the store was the blue color of unit. It stood out from all the blacks and greys around. While appearence in not necessarily something you perceive for in a garbage disposal, it does project the image of a high-quality, high-end appliance, something that can be a clear if for any reason you resolve to sell your home. I highly recommend the Evolution Series to anyone looking for a unusual garbage disposal. I agree with a prior reviewer, there are other places where you gain the Evolution Compact for $159 so it's worth shopping around unless you live in an situation where you have to acquire a long drive to gather to a home center like Lowes or Home Depot.

Our 9+ year extinct builder-installed GE 1/3HP disposall had finally bit the bucket. The inside had corroded and one of the teeth had broken off and blew into a million pieces. While it worked, it was time for a replacement.

My wife and I had succumbed to ISE advertising and immediately decided to acquire an ISE. Well, almost. I actually did a bit of research but when it came down to it, there isn't noteworthy in the intention of disposal review. Anyway, off to Home Depot.

One thing I did know was that I wasn't going to $299 for a garbage disposal. Once in the store I realized that the Compact was only a few ounces timid in capacity then the Evolution Important. So, I bought it for $159.

I am a attractive handy guy with LOTSA tools so removal of the conventional and installation of the unique didn't faze me at all. But I must warn you, if you are removing an extinct disposal like I was, you probably won't be saving any hardware except the drain pipes. This means you'll need to add some plumbers putty to your cart*. Also, acquire a study and view if your disposal uses a spin or is hardwired directly into your panel. Most are hardwired. If it isn't, you can utilize the one from your musty disposal for your unique...unless it is in unpleasant shape.

*The Tools and Materials list is as follows (and doesn't match the outside of the box) : cable connector, plumbers putty, wire nuts, hammer, straight & nasty tip screw drivers, channel locks, putty knife, hack saw.

I reused everything except the GE flange so the only thing I needed was the putty. Your installation may be different.

The instructions are well laid out and very easy to follow. The only order I had was the metal snap ring. It wasn't really an pronounce, but I don't deem that I could have inserted it without my wife holding the flange down from the top. Wiring the recent was the reverse of dismantling the extinct. Again, straight forward and simple. Once I attached the unit and snapped it into state it felt loose. Then I realized that it was the rubber mounting and it was supposed to be like this. This adds to the quietness (like how equipment is installed on a submarine with rubber mounting gaskets) and allows the unit to `bounce' a bit.

After assuring that I had a suited seal...it was time for the moment of truth. WOW was this thing unexcited...really quite. I couldn't image that the 299 model was actually quieter than this. I had the same giddy smile as when I tried my current (replacement) dishwasher for the first time. You could actually have a conversation in the kitchen while using it.

While I haven't had the opportunity to grind, say, potato or carrot peals or month-old stuff from the befriend of the fridge, it's been large.

I am determined that this will be a disposal that will be with us for years to near!

This faucet was installed as a fraction of a major kitchen renovation. It seemed like a helpful view - in keeping with moderately high-end appliances I installed. Unfortunately, the faucet will drive you crazy! This thing goes on and off unpredictably, seems prone to heat - and thus triggers itself on and off when using hot water, and even seems sensitive to breathing! My wife is ready to throw it out. Perhaps mine is disagreeable -I've called Delta and am 'waiting for a callback' so I can't say whether they will score a cure. But for nearly $500, I wouldn't set myself out - I'd pay half as great and not need to wretchedness about it...

Just had the faucet installed today (Sept 15) I connected the wires and batteries in five minutes. Turned it on and water came out. Touched the top of the faucet and the water glide stopped. Touched the faucet again and the water started flowing again. It's sizable, I mean very vast. It's powerful bigger than I understanding it would be. Man, this faucet is Gigantic. I like recent toys, and this is a toy that I will play with all night. Other reviewer had problems, so I'll be watching closely.

So far so respectable, it even matches the granite counter top we got. (Original kitchen)

Oh yah, shipping was next day as well, paid a small more but I got this sucker when I needed it.

Update: Two days later:

Water leak under the sink, coming from the solenoid. Not suitable, might be a dreadful solenoid or awful install. No touch 2 go feature, no water. Can't risk water hurt to my current cabinets. I peaceful like the faucet, plumber is coming encourage tomorrow. If he can't fix the leak, I'll prefer another one and have another plumber install the solenoid, if I can't do it myself.

I will reserve final judgment for now. word of advice: Maintain checking under the sink for leaks.

Update 2:

Traced the water leak to a pipe joint, The touch feature worked for another day then stopped completely. Sent an email to Delta and they will be sending out a replacement solenoid. And I don't have to send anything assist to them.

Update: Sept 20th

It's broken. Touch 2 Go is gone. Now it's a matter of if Delta will replace it.

The Faucet installed easy enough, however there was some confusion about how to ground the faucet. I witness Delta's installation video before I installed the faucet, the installation sheet that came with the faucet did not match the video showing how to ground the faucet. After I installed the faucet it worked as advertised but after a few weeks of using the faucet it was beginning to have a mine of its maintain and would turn on and off by itself. I reseated the batteries and it is now working ok. We like the faucet and accumulate it useful.

I believe it is critical to imprint that i bought this item at Staple's where they were having a very generous deal and got it after everything for honest under $400. I was looking for a system that would be pleasant and have the few key features i needed. A must have for me was under $500, a HDMI port, the rotund keyboard, and everything else needed to be on average with what is currently being place out. This system of course has all of those things and has performed above average in every other status.

I wanted to obtain certain for some of the people who might have been a microscopic petrified after reading the previous review that i have had none of the probems that user described. Out of the box the computer position up in diminutive to no time and connected and download all the updates that it needed withing the first 2 hours. I am a expansive fan of XP and so i was a petite nervous about Windows 7, but at this point i have found it very intuitive and i am already considering switching my other systems over to it. I have had zero compatibily problems to this point and i have continued useing all the main programs that i exercise on my xp system. More than that i have been impressed with the overall contemplate and feel of the computer. It looks better than my last laptop that was an acer aspire and cost more than twice as mighty. It doesn't have that cheap feel that some laptops have and it feels solidly built. It doesn't bend or creak at all even when held by the edges. I will and have recommended to friend and family and i assume that if it is in your tag range that you should catch a cessation survey at it. Sustain an stare out for specials and gawk if you can come by it cheap.

My previous laptop was also made by HP and it ran very well for a long time. Like another person said, true from the box I turned it on and it found my wi-fi and connected. I plugged in my printer and it downloaded the driver and worked perfectly. The first reviewer said that the only access to the volume control is with the mouse but if you maintain the function key in the lower left corner you can control the volume on the 10-key. Windows 7 has been expansive and the notice of the computer is improbable. It turns on and off in honest a few seconds and the runt features, like the preloaded backgrounds, are shapely. This computer has to derive me through my last two and a half years of school and I don;t contemplate I'll have any predicament with it doing that.

It I had to say one thing that is an adjustment it would be the directional keys being quite a bit smaller than my other laptop but if that's all I have to misfortune about then it's dazzling by me.

I recently purchased this to replace an aging Toshiba laptop that I was delighted with. The comparable Toshiba was not available, so I opted for this HP with similar features. These days, laptops are virtually disposable, so I opinion them as electronic yellow pads to be replaced every couple years, and not as something I will support forever. Many of my complaints are probably not new to HP, but reach with buying and setting up a unusual PC.

The cons of this machine are: (1) in my experience with several machines, HP software (printers, maintenance programs) that runs in the background is fleshy, buggy and dramatically reduces performance and often interfere with other software; (2) there's no manual volume control on the machine, so you have to consume the mouse and software to raise and lower the volume rather than a simple dial on the machine; (3) it's wider than previous machines, which means it probably won't fit in the briefcase you extinct for your previous machine; (4) no recovery disks near with the machine; and, (5) the whole Windows 7 experience and lack of compatability with earlier Windows software and drivers.

Windows 7. Compared with XP it's stupid and your common programs probably won't work with it, so budget for buying a bunch of original software -- sustain your receipts, though, because what claims to be compatable may not be. For example, my HP 7410 All in One printer did not work with this machine until I downloaded the 300+ Mb of software drivers. It mild installed the HP Director printer software that bogs down my machine. I also had Iolo's System Mechanic installed on my former machine that claimed to be compatable with Windows 7 and that I loved as a simple diagram to rob clutter and registery errors in Windows XP. When installed in Windows 7, it disabled network connections in a manner that cannot be fixed except for a system roll help. Iolo's response was "we're working on it."

There appear to be two versions of Windows 7 -- 32 bit and 64 bit. This HP uses the 64 bit operating system, which has more compatability issues than the 32 bit version.

Even though Windows 7 is installed on the machine, quiz to consume 2 days downloading the updates and security fixes for Windows 7. It's kinda like buying a original car and then spending 2 days at the shop fixing it so that it will bustle properly. That ought to be something folks at HP would/could change.

If you capture a novel machine, I've learned that you should also engage an external hard drive and/or a flash drive to handle transfers between the machines. I ragged Laplink's FileMover in the past and it terminally screwed up my machine to the point where I had to re-install the operating system. My sigh, based on hard-learned experience is to copy your data files and then install software on the fresh machine rather than employ Laplink's software. Working file and system setting/driver transfer/update software ought to be included with current machines.

You also have to de-crapify the machine by removing the trial software that comes loaded on the machine and that will pop up asking whether you want to install it. For example, it comes loaded with Norton's antivirus software. My experience with many versions of Norton AV is that it's the biggest CPU/memory hog around that WILL hose up your machine and construct it impossible to send and receive e-mail, so it was the first share of software I removed.

The wireless networking seems to work nicely. But, to space it up, the automatic status up will trash your existing router's network and re-do it entirely, so anything else you have connected to your wireless router will have to be reset and redone. If you have another computer, printers, VoIP or video/audio streaming connected to your router, dig out all your area up documentation as you may have to reset everything. I don't know whether this is a Windows 7 thing or an HP thing, but it should not happen with a unique machine.

I have a Samsung LN52A750 LCD television which is an awesome location for employ either as an HDTV or as a computer monitor. I really like the style it has with the TOC (touch of color) and the crystalline bezel do. When the T260HD was announced it seemed like a sizable understanding to upgrade my 22" monitor with this 26" and catch HDTV functions while matching the style of the larger site.

What a disappointment! When mature as a PC monitor the text could not be sharper, but the colors are all washed out and blacks are a hazy shade of gray. This performance isn't nearly as generous as the cheap 22" ACER it replaces! Since the 52" Samsung performs flawlessly as a monitor I figured this 26" unprejudiced needed calibration. After adjusting the configuration of the video card AND using the supplied Samsung "Natural Color Pro" software, only very minute improvement could be made.

I then replaced the HDMI cable with a DVI cable to gape if that was causing the terrible performance... no luck. The images were identical. The DVI cable and video card were the same ones that worked ravishing with the Acer, so those components could be ruled out as causes.

I even old the menu to rename the port to "PC" in the hopes that would automatically modify the port configuration as it does with the 52", but that didn't benefit either.

Now here's the really uncommon part: When traditional as an HDTV (plugged into Comcast cable) the images simply cannot be better. Even without any adjustments the gloomy levels and color saturation is as perfect as anything I have ever seen. When mature as an HDTV this state will not disappoint anyone - no matter how "picky" they are. At least this performance shows there may be some hope in someday finding some hidden plan to improve its performance when traditional as a monitor.

There were four other disappointments prospective purchasers should be aware of:

1) I had already downloaded and read the User Guide from the Samsung website a couple of weeks before anyone began selling this model. Upon unpacking the area I noticed the remote control did not match what was listed in the manual - it was a completely different shape and was missing 7 buttons. This seemed uncommon because some of those missing functions were very useful. I borrowed the remote from my 52" Samsung which was equipped with those buttons (and many more as well) . That remote was able to control everything, including the functions that were missing on the supplied remote! I called Samsung benefit and found that they have recently updated their online user guide and downgraded the supplied remote to the one I received. While you can quiet access the missing functions by navigating through their menu system, it makes using the remote a frustrating experience. This is a relatively minor complaint since I can exhaust my other remote or assume an expensive third-party remote to come by those functions help.

2) Perhaps a bigger disappointment with this unit is its total lack of VESA wall mounting holes. There is no plan to wall mount this position unless you spend one of those traditional fashioned shelves they've worn for years for CRT sets. This is a pity because the 1080p performance of this region is unequalled by any other HDTV in its' size or cost range. Even if you don't need it as a PC monitor at all, it can be completely justified for consume solely for its HDTV performance.... but this function almost REQUIRES a capability to be wall mounted, which cannot easily be done wth this dwelling.

3) The speakers on this monitor are average for a typical HDTV - in other words - fair abominable. My first inclination was to connect a simple region of 2.1 computer speakers because even the inexpensive ones provide a mountainous audio improvement. It is difficult to define a full-blown receiver and 5.1 or 7.1 sound system for a TV this minute. Unfortunately, the only audio out connection on the succor is an optical Toslink connector which no computer speaker system I know of is equipped with. I can't even acquire an adapter to convert the Toslink to any analog type of connector.

I was successful in connecting to the audio-in jack on my computer's sound card via the earphone slide located on the side of the monitor, but it looks exquisite cheap to have the wire stick out like that. That appearance is not compatible with one of my main reasons for selecting this item: it's aesthetic appearance. Even with a right-angle jack adapter the cable remains visible and the monitor's side door covering the connections must remain initiate.

EDIT: 7-28-08

Just installed a Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speaker system. It solved the predicament, but at a steep $250 cost. At least it handles optical inputs, as well as digital coaxial and 5.1 channel analog. It now provides the sound system for this TV as well as the computer and an upconverting DVD player. This is a pleasing apt sound system that has significantly improved my viewing and computing experience. It is not as suitable as the sound system in expend with my 52" TV, but it is a spacious improvement over the 2.1 computer speaker system that I previously belief was quite worthy.

4) The biggest disappointment is the lack of "picture-in-picture" (PIP) capability. What could be a more natural expend for this space than to be able to exhaust it as a computer monitor while having the nightly news running in a window? The remote shown in the novel manual has a button for PIP, even though the manual stated PIP is not available. The remote actually provided does not have a PIP button. I've traditional my other remote (which does have a PIP button) to confirm, and the status fair states "function not available". I feel this is a major earn flaw for a residence of this type.

Now for the genuine news:

I really like the crystalline (distinct plastic) bezel perform and the TOC which matches my 52" Samsung. Fair as with the larger TV, the red TOC is actually so subtle that it appears shadowy unless directly illuminated by incandescent sunlight, when it calm appears more of a very sunless reddish-brown. The 52" site has a do feature which allows subtle veil illuminations to be reflected off the outer edges of the bezel (dubbed as the "halo accomplish") . I like that feature and am a bit dissapointed this state has not yet exhibited this accomplish. (If it does, it must be even more subtle than on its bigger brother) .

The on/off button on the bezel is not really a button at all. It's an invisible sensor that activates when you touch a clear status - unprejudiced as it does with the 52". Unlike its' larger brother the other contol functions for channel and volume are physical buttons hidden slow the fair edge of the bezel. The power indicator light is very cold - instead of a exiguous point of light, it is a faint red glow of a sizeable fraction of the corner of the frame - perhaps a 2" crescent station.

I was greatly surprised (and elated) to gawk that after allowing the state to automatically locate and program cable channels that it found perhaps several hundred of them. It picked up lots of HDTV stations without the need for a set-top-box. The best surprise is that it shows standard definition (SD) broadcasts nearly as clearly as the HDTV broadcasts. I have to hit the "Info" key to verify the resolution of many channels because they all see so genuine. The SD prove even surpasses the very righteous performance from its' 52" broad brother! SD stations that are of nearly unwatchable quality on my other HDTVs contemplate mountainous on the T260HD, perhaps even better than they did on my broken-down SD televisions (which I no longer have for comparisons) .

Performance on HD material is quite superb, but not quite as respectable as that of the larger Samsung.

SUMMARY:

I cannot recommend this unit for utilize as a computer monitor. If I ever leer a solution for its washed out appearance I'll edit that info into this review later.

The explain performance as an HDTV is worthy better than it's performance as a computer monitor with deep blacks and saturated colors.

No PIP functionality greatly reduces this set's usefulness.

The Samsung T260HD is the best monitor I've ever owned. I was using dual 19 inchers (Samsung 940BX and Samsung 971P) and this blows both of them away. I'm an amateur photographer and my photos scrutinize improbable on this monitor -- mammoth hide, high resolution, sure gleaming colors. The images are very though-provoking and detailed. There is so noteworthy detail in the images, it's almost like being there. Photos have more detail in both the highlights and shadows than any other monitor I have ancient. I admire this monitor.

With the default settings, the monitor was a slight too vivid, so I turned the brightness down to 50 and then profiled the monitor with my Monico Optix XR color puck. Now the monitor produces less shiny and more natural colors. The photos exhibit more detail in both highlight and shadow areas than any previous monitor. The built-in 1080P HDTV works substantial too. It automatically found all of my DTV stations without a cable box -- in fact it found even more than my cable box shows. Standard DVDs glance very safe on it too. The monitor was easy to setup and consume both as a monitor and as a TV. The remote is honest the upright size, with all the distinguished buttons and enough position between them for even my colossal fingers. The remote lets you switch between TV mode and monitor mode with a single button push.

Initially I couldn't play Blu-ray movies on this monitor and the Cyberlink Blu-ray advisor reported a digital connection that didn't back HDCP. The scrape turned out to be lack on HDCP relieve in the GeForce 7600GT video card. I upgraded the video card to a GeForce 9800GT and now Blu-ray movies play honest beautiful. Blu-ray movies have a minute more detail, but standard DVDs peek broad too.

The cover seems to have an anti-glare feature -- light coming in my window that old to cause glare on my other monitors, is not a scrape on this monitor. I haven't verified this in the specs, but it unprejudiced seems to have less of a glare jam than other monitors.

Now that I have this astronomical widescreen monitor, I've started watching DVDs and instant Netflix movies on it. Both contemplate huge. With a high rush connection, the instant understanding movies witness almost as gracious as DVDs.

I calm have a 19inch monitor to the side of this one for games that don't indicate well at this resolution. It also adds as an overflow monitor when I procure lots of stuff running.

This monitor is a puny insensible to wake up after being asleep (Windows power management) . I discovered that it wakes up better when detecting a mouse click than fair bright the mouse.

I tried using the monitor from both the HDMI and DVI connectors and found no noticeable disagreement in exhibit quality.

The sound quality from the built-in speakers is okay for watching standard TV, but I normally exhaust my Logitech THX-certified Z-2300 speakers which are grand better. When using the T260HD as a TV I let the sound approach out of its possess speakers, but when using it as a monitor, the sound routes through the Logitech Z-2300 speakers. They have kindly sound for both movies and gaming and are only $83 on Amazon.

If you are thinking of getting one of these monitors, unprejudiced do it. You will admire it.

I unprejudiced want to address a few things. For viewing television, the relate is amazingly fine. Playstation 3 looks awesome... literally the best that I've seen.

When stale as a monitor... The color profile for any PC monitor is always controlled by the graphics card, so you have to go into the settings of your graphics card and tweak everything to build it peer correct... once you rob the time to do that, it looks mountainous.

The 'auto tune' feature for adding channels takes a long time and doesn't work that colossal, but any channel that you punch in will automatically be saved, so it's not a large deal. Analog signals grasp a couple seconds to tune in, but digital signals are quicker. Sometimes analog signals won't tune in on the first try, but not often.

There are no standard A/V inputs (RCA yellow, red, white) . The verticle viewing angle could be better. There is really no procedure to mount it (although it has an Ex-Link port for hooking up to a motorized mount...??? ) .

Another reviewer said there is only an optical audio output, but there is a standard 3.5mm audio output on the side, it's objective not on the befriend.

The built in speakers would be considered grand for a monitor but not mammoth for a TV

Aspect ratio choices are: pudgy wide 16:10, wide 16:9, 4:3, wide zoom 1, and wide zoom 2.

Buy it.

I purchased this receiver a few months ago. I wanted to derive old-fashioned to it before writing a review. I fill several stereos from various makers but this is the tops! There is all most nothing that this receiver cannot do.

It includes a very simple remote for those that are easily confused by remote controls...as well as a tubby feature remote that automatically lights itself when you/your hand acquire reach it (nice in a dismal room!) . Want to access your RX-Z11 via your laptop? no plight - honest connect the receiver to your network/laptop!

My only objection is that I do utilize all of the speaker connections in the serve and accept it a bit tough to squeeze everything into the tight connection room they give you on the encourage of the receiver (even when using banana plugs) .

I feel that the Yamaha RX-Z11 is THE best receiver on the market bar none!

I bought this hoping it would work with my iPhone/iPod Touch "REMOTE" application and IT DOES!!!!!!!! The sound is what you'd request from Bose, which is mammoth for the size & portability of the unit. It's pricy, but for me --- worth it! The tricky fragment is the USB dongle; it doesn't whisk into an apple keyboard, so you either need to expend the abet of an iMac or USB hub. I have it plugged into my 13" MacBook Pro without issues.

"I was exasperated for this product to near out and hoped it would work with my iPhone "remote" application which it does nicely. I had the wireless key plugged into my macbook pro and everything works flawlessly as long as your wireless computer network is not on. When it is the Bose Soundlink can't cope and the music cuts in and out and is useless (the troubleshooting guide even acknowledges this!) . It seems that you can either listen to your wireless music with the Soundlink OR surf the internet but not both at the same time. If you need to do both simultaneously do not catch this product.

Instead salvage an Airport Instruct and the Bose Companion 3 speakers to dwelling up a wireless music system through iTunes and AirTunes. You'll also do about $200 this plot.

The Bose Soundlink is scheme too expensive not to have this wireless glitch resolved. Until Bose fixes this, beware of this potentially astounding product."

This compact runt system is simply extraordinary. The clarity and depth makes my music approach alive. It is exactly what you would quiz from Bose. Determined it is expensive, but you accept what you pay for. I compared it with Sony (S-Air wireless system) - Sony is slightly cheaper but doesn't really match up to the Bose quality.

The setup couldn't be considerable easier either - objective plod it into the wall, go the USB key into your laptop and its all space! Another reviewer has complained about interference with existing wireless systems. I found no such issues. I am able to surf the web, exhaust my cordless handset and play wireless music simultaneously without any interference.

I bought the Nuvi 770 for my wife for Christmas. I had been watching the GPS price/features evolution for some time, and almost went with the 660. Ultimately, the novel, more polished interface of the 770 and a few of the more new features won out. As a Mac user, one of the most valuable aspects of any electronics intention is the willingness of the manufacturer to encourage the Mac platform. Garmin does a very nice job of this. I downloaded the Web Updater and updated the 770 software in less than 5 minutes. I also installed the POI uploader and tested it out; worked colossal.

While the 770 is no iPhone, it does what it does very well. The number of steps required to regain to desired information is not valuable, and the hide interface is quite nice. Very polished, less "cartoonish" than some interfaces I have seen. The 3-D understanding is very effective. Directions were flawless. No chance yet to test the Traffic.com functionality.

My wife loved how well the 770 pairs with her iPhone. Dialing POI phone numbers was simplicity itself, and the ability to employ the 770 as a handsfree speakerphone, even when dialing with the iPhone is very nice. Sound quality is dazzling honorable, too, for such a shrimp speaker. Persons on the other kill of the line picture that sound quality is respectable and fully understandable.

The FM transmitter feature--for which I did not have high expectations--is at best so-so. The 770 seems to net begin FM spots on the dial fairly well [here in the Bay Station of Northern California, that is not trivial], but the downside of leaving the radio turned on to an occasionally hissing, static-y dwelling did not seem worthwhile. I want to be able to listen to the radio, and be interrupted as need be. That's how the built-in GPS works on our Subaru Tribeca, interrupting as essential. I have not yet tried to hardwire the 770. BTW, its GPS functions are vastly capable to the built-in navigation.

One reason we chose the 770 is because we are visiting Europe this spring, and renting a car. So, we are looking forward to using it there. My test of the POI capabilities in Europe was fair impressive. So we are looking forward to taking it on our trot.

We bought the dashboard frictional evil, and it is incredible. Through twisting curves, speedily starts, and surprise stops, it never moved. I will never exhaust a windshield or lumber sticky mount again.

The GPS note is intellectual and obvious and maps are well detailed for both the US and Europe. The unit even warns of the status of known "Safety" rush cameras and their corresponding trigger speeds. To minimize the need for fiddling with expose scales while driving, the diagram demonstrate "Auto scales" to demonstrate you increased detail when you stupid and turn for an exit leaving the highway and then scales abet out again when you net succor up to accelerate. Of course, you can override this if you want to.

The GPS performance of this product is exceptional. I have never had a GPS that has a receiver so sensitive that it can regularly lock onto satellites even when it's inside a house or in a restaurant. This one does it, and expeditiously too. When I first got it, I turned it on and prepared to slump out onto into my yard to let it "acquire itself", but before I even got out the door, it had found the satellites and was "ready to navigate".

I agree with one of the other reviewers, and rather than 5 stars, I would have liked to give this unit only 4.5 stars. My reasons are: The lack of a case, the lack of an included AC charger (though one is available at a very reasonable cost), and the lack of an onscreen intention scale indication while driving. Other than that, I adore it.

Operational hint: I have seen that some of the reviewers mention having no "return to main menu" button so they have had to sustain hitting the "Help" button multiple times benefit, abet, aid, etc. There is a single instruction in the Preface of the Owner's manual under "nuvi Tips and Shortcuts" that is easy to miss. It says, "To hastily return to the Menu page, touch and possess Encourage". It works blooming.

I have traditional Garmin GPS units for many years now, and have had no problems until the last month. My proper iQue M4 did not like getting wet in the California rain (my fault I must admit) and promptly died in the middle of a mosey.

As soon as I got home I looked at the Nuvis and decided that the 770 was the best fit for my needs. I had it overnighted from Amazon as I was leaving on another plod in 3 days. Everything worked well for the first couple of days, and then I switched it on one evening and it could not authorize the maps. A call to Garmin Tech Serve (and a 40 min wait on the phone) got the dilemma solved by downloading the unlock code file to the unit... this was VERY slick with Garmin Tech using a remote desktop type application (though this only works for Windows OS) . 2 days later the maps would not unlock again, Luckily I had copied the file and reinstalled it. This time added write protection to the file, it worked for at least 5 days like that.

Then the next dilemma. I tried to employ the Bluetooth connection to my phone. I had switched it off when traveling to conserve battery life. It would not approach serve on. The veil would say it was initializing bluetooth, and hang. Only switching the unit off would unlock it (bluetooth was serene disabled) . I tried everything I could believe of, and then everything Garmin could deem of, with several changes of firmware(2.4, 2.8 3.0...), nothing would persuade the bluetooth to reach help.

So, after honest over a week the unit has gone aid to Amazon (who very promptly refunded me) . I have become so dependent on my GPS that it HAS to be superior, and for me the 770 is not there yet. I am clear that once the bugs are sorted out this will be an helpful unit, but for now I have ponder what to collect next.

We registered for this cookware as a wedding gift. We worship the tempered-glass lids so we can explore what's cooking. The pans have a nice mammoth feel and work well with our smoothtop range. The stay-cool riveted handles are ample.

At first we loved the nonstick coating, it did what it was supposed to do. However, we have had the pans for less than three years (2 years 8 months) and the nonstick coating is already beginning to approach off. We have followed the directions for care and cleaning, and not outmoded any metal utensils on them, so I am very disappointed that the coating hasn't lasted longer. We do cook frequently with high heat, but on a worthy status of cookware that shouldn't invent the coating reach off this expeditiously. There are runt hairline scratches (probably from stir-frying limited or steaming shellfish) where the coating is now beginning to clump up and rub off when we wash it.

It's sunless, because we cook a lot, we treasure this cookware and were hoping it would last us a long time. Looks like I'll have to replace some of our frequently-used pieces, and this time I'll be going without a nonstick coating.

Although I ONLY hand washed these pots and pans, somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd year, the nonstick coating on the pans started lifting. I also do not utilize metal cooking utensils.

All that being said, I serene exhaust these pots and pans (been almost 5 years now) .

Overall, I originally bought this dwelling for ~$300 5 years ago. The pots are calm in pleasurable condition. If I was looking for pots and pans, I would believe purchasing another dwelling at $150.

I do cook a lot (feeble for business) so my 5 years with these pans may equate to 7-10 years of normal utilize.

I shopped around quite a bit before finally settling on this plot and I am very gay with my bewitch. I don't understand a lot of the complaints.

The fact that the residence is a bit heavy is a plus in my book, not a minus. I would have been greatly disappointed if they would have been light and flimsy. I checked out a few different kindly sets at bed, bath and beyond before buying on-line, and I didn't contemplate any of the huge name stamp hard adonized sets were any lighter than these.

One of the stout selling points for me for this place is the fact that they are oven reliable to 500 degrees. I have a few recipes I employ all the time that begin out on the stove and then recede into a 375 or 400 oven, or execute under the broiler and this position can occupy that. Some of the others I compared have handles that won't purchase that kind of heat. Despite the metal handles, I am very satisfied that they don't gain hot on the stove.

I don't effect my pots and pans in the dishwasher because my family of five fills up the dishwasher too mercurial, so handwashing is no scrape for me either. They wash so easily anyway, and I have never had a jam with food sticking to the rivets where the handle handles assign.

I bought this plot at a very discounted label here at Amazon and am thrilled with the take. Cooking is so noteworthy more palatable with tremendous tools.

I haven't had mine as long as some of the others here, but so far they are holding up unbiased delicate. I utilize them every day, and if they do kill up looking a bit passe any time soon, I will unruffled be happy that I got more than my money's worth.
