Don't let the previous review alarm you. Yes, the battery protrudes, but it provides a convenient abet for the keyboard. I always exhaust the "feet" on my keyboard to give me a more splendid typing angle, and that's exactly what the placement of the battery does. As for the battery being "heavy", this is a light-weight (<2.9 lbs) netbook; if you've been lugging around a 5-7 lb laptop, it's a dream. I looked at every netbook on the market, and this one had all the features that pushed my buttons. I am totally sat-is-fied. If I fair could have gotten it for the note it's being offered for now, I'd have no regrets.

This is arrive perfection. So many sure features.

There is a 6-cell battery that protudes out on a extensive basis. So mighty so that it BLOCKS your ability to fully initiate the cover as the battery blocks the cloak from fully opening.

If you are short, this is not an protest. I'm 6-foot and this netbook only opens so far and then I have to push its 10" microscopic mask procedure out so I can fetch a positive and knowing cloak. Thus, I can no longer examine the mask.

I was so impresed with its GOBI ability to connect anywhere via its internal chip.

The keyboard is a solid rated-10! Marvelous.

The weight with this really dismal and heavy battery makes for a netbook that weighs-in at more than my Sony Vaio standard laptop.

I'm so letdown as there are so many definite things about this netbook except for its weight and it's dreadful 6-cell gargantuan and heavy battery.

I've only had my Mini for one day so far, but have found it to be one slick machine. We bought it to lift with us on trips to preserve up to date on emails and follow the market, etc. It is going to be perfect for that. For heavy employ I will mild employ my desk top. Battery pack is not a pickle. Don't let that withhold you from buying one. The Mini does capture a while to position up. The directions could be a runt more definite and the operating system required extensive updating but that is covered in the instruction booklet and not a substantial jam...unbiased takes some time.

I could have waited for the 7 to near out, but at this mark and since this is the system I have been using for years, why wait. Somebody said it was heavy...I don't mediate less than 3 lbs should be a predicament for most people. After some practice I now no longer advance for the mouse and am getting feeble to the slightly smaller key board and the mouse pad. It unbiased takes a small practice. Overall the coumpeter is well made, very solid, keyboard has a nice touch, in general a well made machine. Not like some of those I looked at while shopping at the local computer mega-store. So, so far so obliging. Hope I feel the same after 6 months.
