I bought this GPS around Christmas - 2007 for $150. It lists for $399. I had originally ordered another GPS but the store, where I made my acquire, lost my fresh order. I agreed to secure the Delphi NAV-300 because it was supposedly of equal or greater value.

The superior, the NAV-300 does what it is supposed to do. Punch in a destination and it gets you there, as long as the destination is on the GPS scheme. I was able to procure a particular site in Boston, MA that I would never have found without it. It worked well under a mile of road tunnel.

The dreadful, I noticed a few quirks apt plot. For example, when driving on the interstate, correct in the middle of the highway with no exits approaching, it will utter you to, "Now turn left," making it principal for me to turn the volume down. Another dilemma with this particular unit is that I have not seen a single method update since I purchased the NAV-300. I noticed recently that the NAV-200 had a way update through a third party vendor for $99. The other day, I went to Gray, Maine and it could not gain a road. When traveling a stretch of newly built highway, the GPS went off the procedure. I am guessing I will have to eventually pay for a unusual draw if I want improved service.

This GPS works pleasing, most of the time, with the existing intention but it certainly is worth no more than the $150 that I paid for it, especially if I have to pay a high heed for future design updates. I would strongly recommend another impress because it seems that Delphi does not offer maps for any of their GPS units and the NAV-300 is supposed to be a higher-end model.

Buyer beware - do not steal a GPS unless the manufacturer promises, up-front, free method updates for the life of your unit, otherwise, you will be paying down the road (no pun intended) .

Ok I bought this product before reading any reviews. I got it up and running and it works gargantuan! I live in California and have had no problems as far as finding destinations and reaching them. I got this paticular unit because it was $139.99 marked down from $399.99. I only bought it for the navigation and have no interest in the other "features" so I am very gratified with it. It is hard to study with sunglasses on but the thing talks to you so.....yeah. I would recomend this unit for anyone who wants impartial a GPS unit. Who the hell is looking at pictures while driving anyway?

I would not recommend this product unless you want to be frustrated. The DVD instructions did not work in any DVD player I had. Then I discovered I must spend a pen stylus for inputting addresses but there was no site on the unit to store the stylus. I guess they rob you are going to bewitch your have velcrow to withhold from losing it. The notion that you need a stylus is very terrible as with a Garmin your fingers do the work. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to input correctly on this unit. But without instructions on their DVD that did not work I wanted to call their customer back. It was Saturday morning and I called. They told me they have no Saturday or Sunday business hours and to call befriend Mon-Friday 8-5. This is my working time so that does not work for me. I guess Delphi has not figured out they are selling a customer product which requires some help and their customers would like encourage when they are not at work themselves. In any case, I returned the unit to Delphi and purchased a Garmin from Sams Club. I needed no assistance on the Garmin and snappily had it taking me to destinations without a stylus.

I paid a limited more but there is no comparison. I suggest Delphi pick up some valid marketing people working with their engineers in the future.
