The good:
For making pizza or for baking minute items, this works really well. If you want it objective as a replacement for your toaster, then you'll be pounding a nail with a sledge hammer... Win it if you need both functions.
The not so good:
1) The printing on the function buttons (on - off) wore off after about a month or so. Not a enormous jam since we knew what the buttons were for by then.
2) It runs hot for baking, etc, so understanding to rush it ~ 25F lower than your recipe (also not too vast of a dilemma, once we figured it out) .
3) After about 3 mos, the top heating elements failed (substantial quandary) .
I unbiased called Cuisinart's customer service. They will be shipping me a original unit (7-10 days), and I'll have to return the old-fashioned one help to them (along with $20 for shipping both ways) . Mild, their response was definitely hassle-free. I'll post a few months from now to update...
I purchased this oven to cook Thanksgiving Dinner in . I am very satisfied I did . I cooked a six pound turkey breast in about two hours and have baked two cakes and pies as well as other things since Thanksgiving . It does not have the convection feature, but if you cook a six pound turkey in two hours why do you need it ( I passe an oven bag ) ? The brick liner you residence in the bottom rack when you cook a pizza works astronomical . If you consume it when cooking a pie you will not kill up with a half cooked bottom crust . It looks radiant, maybe not quite professional quality as stated, but is well made . It has a timming feature for toast, but seems to cook unprejudiced a litle to long for my taste . It does brown the toast evenly on both sides . Unbiased area for a shorter toasting time . Trial and error will reveal you which setting to expend . You can region the toast level at 3 levels or any setting in between . If you want a first-rate basic oven that does all your regular oven does, only at a miniature size to be cooked, I recommend this one .
This replaced out toaster oven. works colossal except it is missing a timer function. The toasting function is timed, but nothing for baking. Bummer.
The included baking stone does a grand job with pizzas. the included pizza dough recipes came out immense.
The unit does slump out of the box, you have to adjust the one leg by twisting it to the top-notch length. Rock solid and level now!
